· We intend following the same procedures for the breakdown of all monies raised as was used for the last lottery that we ran in 2023 that had a car as its only prize. The breakdown then was as follows; - monies raised - £41,175, of which 1.43% went to administration, £9, 000 ie 21.86% went to acquire the car prize valued at £17,725 as this was partly sponsored with a £8,725 donation to the main charity, 51.28% went to the main charity and 25.53% went to the charities and good causes chosen by the participating Rotary clubs. For this year’s lottery the main charity will be Grampian Children’s Respite Care (operating as CHARLIE HOUSE, Registered Charity number SC042643) with the balance of the net proceeds, after meeting the cost of the car, being donated to the main charity and participating Rotary Clubs for distribution to their supported charities and good causes along with the same small percentage being retained for administration purposes which mainly includes the Gambling Commission fees and the printing of the tickets for the lottery.
Rules of the Lottery continued.
· The winners agree that, and any photographs taken and articles written may be used in publicity about current and future raffles.
· The decision of the Society regarding the interpretation of all rules shall be final.
